When you request a meter you will pay a $100 membership fee in addition to the charge for the meter. The membership fee gives you the right to purchase water, participate in members meeting and vote for directors. You may also serve as a director if you are nominated and elected. To maintain your membership and reserve the right to purchase water you are required to pay a minimum monthly fee for your meter even if you do not purchase any water.
If you sell your property, you and the new owner may transfer the meter and membership to the new owner’s name. A $25.00 transfer fee will be assessed. The previous owner is responsible for an indebtedness incurred prior to the transfer.
